I am a Post Doc at The BioRobotics Institute of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA) in Pisa, Italy under the supervision of Prof. Cecilia Laschi. I got my Ph.D. in June 2012 with the Thesis titled "Gaze control modeling and robotic implementation". I earned my master degree in Biomedical Engineering at University of Pisa in 2008, with laude. In 2010 - 2011 I was a visiting student at the Collége de France, Paris, France at the Laboratoire de Physiologie de la Perception et de l'Action (LPPA) under the supervision of Prof. Alain Berthoz. My research interests are in the field of the neuroscientific modeling applied to the humanoid robotics. In particular I was involved in the study and implementation of eye movements in the iCub robotic platform and in the study of the gaze activity during locomotion tasks in collaboration with Prof. Daniel Bennequin. I was involved in the drafting and in the management of the ICT EU project RoboSoM: a Robotic Sense of Movement (248366).
