I received the MSc in Computer Science from University of Pisa (Italy) in 2007. From 2007 to 2013, I worked as Research Assistant in the BioRobotics Institute of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, involved in several European Projects like DustBot, HydroNet, and Robot-Era.
From 2013, I am a PhD student working on the use of depth cameras (e.g. Asus Xtion and Kinect) for human activity recognition in assisted living application and machine learning techniques in general. My interests include also robot navigation (indoor/outdoor) and human-robot interaction.
