Awards:

  • In 2016 I was awarded a  £ 103k from the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) for the project "Aquatic Soft Robots for Environmental Sensing".
  • In 2012 my colleagues and I have been awarded a biennial support from the Cassa di Risparmio di Livorno for the Project PoseiDrone.
  • Marie Curie European Reintegration Grant (ERG): in 2010 my CFD-OctoProp Project was selected among the successfull candidates for a 3 year long european funding scheme.
  • Marie Curie Early Stage Training (EST): in 2006 I became the recipient of a Marie Curie Fellowhip within the frame of the COFLUIDS scheme of the CFD Centre of the University of Leeds.
