About Me: 

Elisa is a post-doc fellow at the BioRobotics Institute. She received her Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering (with Honors) from the University of Pisa in October 2007 and in the same year she joined the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. During her PhD, she worked on capsular endoscopy (in the framework of FP6 Eu Project Vector) and on microfluidics and microfabrication techniques (in the Italian Project Naomi). She obtained her PhD in June 2011 and she is currently collaborating in the FP7 Eu Project NanoBioTouch on bio-hybrid tactile sensing and in the Regional project Acariss on Educational Robotics.
