Summary:
PPR3 is a highly innovative project aimed at developing new articulated, biomimetic, sensorized and motorized prosthetic finger phalanges, controlled by means of non-invasive interfaces that provide physiologic motor control and intuitive sensory feedback. PPR3 proposes to explore modular and personalized solutions with reference to both the level of amputation and to number of amputated fingers. Additionally PPR3 will investigate new techniques and methods of body energy harvesting that have the potential to be integrated in upper limb prostheses.
