Rehabilitation Bioengineering Laboratory


Main Activities: 

Fouded in 2011, the Laboratory of Rehabilitation Bioengineering has been established through an agreement between Auxilium Vitae Volterra S.p.A. and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa.

The Laboratory headquarter is located at the clinical site of Auxilium Vitae; the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna offered professional competences of researchers, closely working together with medical doctors and rehabilitation professionals.

  • Telemonitoring of patients in vegetative state;
  • fMRI-based functional assessment using MR-compatible devices.
